So after having the Driver’s license completed, the next task was obvious. Getting a car that is. I had my eyes on this G35 Coupe for a while, I even drove one back a month ago, but I was still thinking on other models as well. The 350Z and the Porsche Boxster. The Porsche is obviously more expensive, so I could have only bought a 2002-2003 model, which isn’t very promising here in Dubai, specially now that the government is thinking about banning cars aged over 10 years. After all I decided next to the Infiniti for the following reasons:

Very fast and powerful yet comfortable to sit in

Has 4 seats over 2 like that other candidates had, this of course is more of a wife-like concern

There aren’t many G35 Coupes on the road, which makes it more unique

Once I narrowed down the selection, I was off to buy the car, and here is the outcome. Read on for more info.

Brief specs of the car:

2005 Year end (makes it nearly 3 years old)

54800 kms on the clock

3,5 Liter V6 engine with 280 Horsepower

Full leather seats with all what you can imagine in the comfort zone

The car drives like a dream. I had a few cool cars before, but in the power area, this is the leader by far. My Firebird back in the States had more torque, but the fact that this is a 5 speed automatic, and that was a 3 speed, we cannot really compare. The car has been amazing, and I am sure you will hear more about it as time passes.

For now, I am taking it for its first service to have the AC checked out for the summer, as these days the temperatures climb dangerously close to 50Celsius, and the last thing I want is to be stuck in traffic with no AC. Also there is a small problem with the temperature gauge, it shows only low temperatures, and I am afraid of not detecting an overheating.

That is it for now, as you can see the car has been around in a few places, we even took it down to the beach last weekend. Since we have it which is 4 days ago, it didnt have much rest that is for sure
