I was ready to punch myself in the face, but then I saw that the damage is not really that bad after all. The floor I dropped it onto was marble, which isnt scratching in nature. Thank you Dubai for being fancy and putting marble everywhere. And thats right, specially here with the high prices for data I am glad to have the 1st gen iPhone. Also the "alu" looks matches my MacBook :) I just got a BT headset from Apple, its a treat.
